In this week’s installment of Your Lens, a collection of captivating images featuring birds, insects, and picturesque landscapes takes center stage. If you’ve captured any remarkable moments through your lens, share them with us at cbcnb@cbc.ca for a chance to be showcased in the upcoming edition. Remember to provide your name and the location where the photo was taken along with your submission.

Heather Molyneaux snapped a close-up shot of a grey pigeon in Fredericton, while Maureen Levesque spotted a vibrant monarch caterpillar in Bayside, Saint Andrews. Jim Turnbull captured a scenic view of the Kennebecasis River from Millidgeville in Saint John, showcasing the Royal Kennebecasis Yacht Club on the right. Mélanie Allain delighted in sighting a majestic great egret in Salisbury, and Alexi Surette documented a bald eagle landing after catching an eel in Grand-Digue near Shediac.

To contribute your own visual stories, email your photos or videos to cbcnb@cbc.ca with “Your Lens” in the subject line. Remember to include your name and the location where the content was captured. Please ensure that submissions feature subjects within New Brunswick and offer a descriptive narrative to enhance audience understanding. Avoid submitting black-and-white or heavily edited photos, as well as watermarked images, as they will not be considered. Selected submissions may be featured on various platforms, including our evening television broadcast, with due credit given to the contributors.
